Membership fee

SEK 200 per year for all - paid as soon as possible after the beginning of the year and valid for the rest of the calendar year.
The membership fee includes the Swedish Budo and Martial Arts Association's insurance. The training fee is added.

You who come here and want to train for a trial pay the membership fee of SEK 200. It is enough for the passes for two weeks. If you then want to continue, you pay the training fee. The payment options are to the club's Swish 123 351 3173 (write the name of the person who will train in the message) or cash to the instructors.

During your first semester, you who participate in the adult training pay one reduced introductory price.
Adults: 2000 SEK
Student: 1600 SEK

Comments

  1. Students who are entitled to study funds from CSN.
  2. High school student or high school student participating in adult training.
  3. Applies to children between 7-14 years.
  4. Requires membership in another aikido club.
  5. Applies only to members of the Vanadis Aikido Club who pay the semester fee. For members who pay the annual fee, summer training is included.

Sibling discount applies to children and young people in the children's groups: SEK 50 per child and semester.

The option to only pay the membership fee and not the training fee is available for those who want to support the club but who do not normally train with us.

Example

  • If in January 2024 you have to pay for the whole year, you pay SEK 200 in membership fee for 2024 and SEK 5,000 in training fee, a total of SEK 5,200.
  • If you start training in August 2024, you pay SEK 200 in membership fee for 2024 and the training fee for the semester SEK 2700, total SEK 2900.
    In January 2025, you then pay a SEK 200 membership fee for 2025 and SEK 5,000 in training fees for the whole year, a total of SEK 5,200.

Graduations

Grading is not compulsory, but it is a way to mark one's aikido development and eventually gives access to more advanced training opportunities. Grading opportunities for the white belt degrees, the kyu degrees, are given at the club's end of term. Adults start at 6 kyu. Ask the beginner instructors to find out more.

Well in advance of your 4-kyu grading, you need to get a mentor to tune in to your fitness-wise and get some instructions on what to work on. Mentors are instructors in the club who have at least 2 dan and are fukushidoin, shidoin or shihan. See further the list of ours instructors.

We apply the following minimum requirements for grading:

Grading scheme for sixth to first kyu is available as PDF files in A4 and A3.

Dan degrees

Dan degrees - black belt degrees - are usually taken before the Swedish grading committee in connection with a larger camp. Read more here.

Information about insurances

Insurance for practitioners

Vanadis Aikidoklubb is a member of the Swedish Aikido Association and our members therefore enjoy adequate protection should the accident happen in connection with club activities or if you practice aikido at another club in Sweden.

The insurance also applies if you travel abroad to train. More information about this insurance is available here.
